Typical Log

The Log dialog shows the log information of the backup jobs including some other important information logged. It is the collection of all protocol information shown in dialog windows when backup actions are running as well as command line jobs and periodical backup jobs.

If there was an error in the last 24 hours the 'Error in log' in the head of the window would be red. This is to inform that there might be an error in the backup job started automatically. The interval can be changed using the <Define watching range> button. The <Truncate log> button truncates the log file and saves the truncated part on packed files. The <Find next error> button searches the next error in the log from bottom to top. It clears the 'Error in log' hint too.
