Setup CDRW

The preparer ID and the publisher ID will be used when creating a CDRW. You should enter your text.

The CDRW size is the default size and will used to decide whether data fits on a CDRW.

If a CDRW is flexible then while running KaTeker in batch mode, using backup_system, any defined CDRW media will be accepted. This can be selected using the <flexible> / <unique> button.

Printing CD label

The viewer / printer for CDRW labels is used when a CD label is generated. A viewer like gv shows the generated CD label on the screen and you can print it simply clicking a button. There are some other programs selectable. You may select your own viewer / printer program using the <Select a viewer / printer program> button.

The <Set CDRW media type> saves the settings. They will be temporary until they are are saved into the configuration clicking the main <Save configuration> button. A red <Save configuration> button signals temporary settings.

The screen shot below shows that gv is the selected Viewer of the CD labels.
