This dialog offers all you need to restore data. In most cases there was no disk crash but anyone lost data. You can search for files using patterns (regular expressions). It will be searched over all known media and is very fast because their contents is cached, You'll get a list of files matching the pattern, where and when they are saved. You can restore the file or all archive files in the directory with one double click. Subdirectories are restored of course. Restoring the data will be fast because is is saved in chunks on random access media.
The example shows the search for the file .viminfo in the backup set HOME. The list shows several .vimifo files fond. The file home/hfk/.viminfo is saved in two versions (30.08 and 28.08) on four media.
The selected version will be saved into /home/hfk/tmp as /home/hfk/tmp/home/hfk/.viminfo when the <Restore> button is clicked.
The whole process takes less than one minute.
