Error defining global cache semaphore 1238! Permission
This
is a know problem of KaTeker. This semaphore is used to
synchronize concurrent KaTeker jobs. The semaphore was
created by another user and the current user has no permission to
use this semaphore. Both user have to be in the same group. Root
may help:
# sg
backups
# /usr/local/tkateker
In tkateker
"Setup->Control KaTeker" click the button <Get
new cache semaphore>.
If the Group is not existing root can create it:
#
groupadd backups
# usermod -G `id user | sed -e
's,.*=[0-9]*(,,' -e 's:),[0-9]*(:,:g' -e 's,),,'`,backups
user
Error any already creating .....
There is a concurrent
KaTeker job creating a CDR(W) media.
If there is no
concurrent KaTeker job then the create section was not
released by KaTeker job because is crashed.
Release the
section in the Dialog "Setup->Control
KaTeker" using button <Release create section>.
STOP on error: KaTeker is already running
A backup
master or update was started but there was already another backup
job running, started by an other process.
If KaTeker
crashed because of an internal error then it can happen that the
critical section is still occupied. If you are sure that there is no
other backup job is running you can release the critical section
using in the Dialog <Setup->Control
KaTeker> the button <Release global critical
section>.
STOP on error: Error in configuration of the CDR device.
Correct the configuration.
The CDR(W) device configured does not
match the system. In most cases the hardware configuration changed.
Use the <Setup->CDR reorder> dialog, select the device and
click the <Set CDR recorder device> button. Finally save the
configuration.
'Segmentation fault' or 'Speicherzugriffsfehler'
This
message may be raise when tkateker finishes. It is a problem in
Perl/Tk. Simply ignore the message.
You got not rights to create the file '/var/lock/kateker'.
Please solve this problem and restart. .....
One solution is to
enter your user into a group with write access to '/var/lock'. Got
your group write access?
