There is a introductory description of "Define backup sets".
When KaTeker is stated the fist time the backup sets HOME, SRV and SYSTEM are defined. They are split into lot of archives. This will not meet all your requirements. In most cases you have only to exclude some directories or files.
Often there are some other directories to be included (you'll got a hint in the "initial splitting backup sets" dialog). Open the "Change backup sets" dialog clicking the <Change> button and set your requirements. The new directories included should be analysed and split possibly using the "Change entry dialogs". This is described at Complex backup sets steps 3 and 4.
If the result is acceptable close it with <OK>. The result will be shown immediately.
The backup sets are assigned to all backup groups. That is they will be saved all and put onto all media. You should change the default settings using the dialog "Backup set groups".
You can define your own backup sets. This is described at Complex backup sets.
All changes will be inserted in the configuration when the <Save configuration> button is clicked.
