The center list shows the files and directories (archives) of the selected backup set. Click an entry to select it. The selected entry is shown in the label above the right list. Double click an entry to open a change dialog starting at the selected directory.
The right list shows the excluded files in the selected directory.
There is a introductory description of "Define backup sets" and "Define root backup sets".
If you want to enter some new files and directories to a backup set click the <Change> button and follow the steps 3 and 4.
Consider you want to save some directories not saved till now in the backup set 'DATA'.
Enter the name of the new backup 'DATA' into the entry field above the <New Set> button and hit the button. There comes a hint that the new backup set should be assigned to a backup set group. We'll do this finally.
The new backup set will be selected automatically. The list of files and directories will be empty. Click the <Change> button. The "Change entry dialogs" comes up.
For each file and directory to include into the backup set
do:
a) select it in the right list of the "Change
entry dialogs" and click right.
b) 'choose included
explicitly ...' and hit the button <Ok split> the
"Split dialog" comes
up.
c) be patient and wait until the processing finished and
click the <Ok> button.
Close the "Change entry dialogs" dialog.
Now the list of files and directories will be filled with the files and directories selected and some which are inserted by the split operation.
The new backup set has to be inserted into backup set groups. Open the dialog "Setup Groups" and assign the new backup set to some groups. In most cases it should be assigned to all groups.
All changes will be inserted in the configuration when the <Save configuration> button is clicked.
