This is an example of the "CDs" dialog. It correspond to the example of the "Master" or "Update" dialog where the master was saved onto CDR.
The <Print contents> or <Print label> buttons generate a CD label of a selected media. The CD label is generated by cdlabelgen. Depending on the setup of the printer in the "Setup->CD" dialog there will be displayed by the postscript viewer like gv. The viewer gv offers a print button. You can change the viewer or select an immediately printout by the dialog "Setup->CD".
The <Cache CD> button caches the contents of a CD into the database (cache) of KaTeker. This is useful if a CD was removed from the list of CD using the <Forget CD> button.
The <Forget CD> button removes a CD in the list and the database (cache) of KaTeker. A CD can be included into the list and database using the <Cache CD> button.
The <Restore CD> button will be used very seldom. It is to restore a master or update archive from CD.
The <Blank CD> button is useful if you use physical CDRW and got a CDRW recorder. Then you can use physical CDRW as logical CDs in KaTeker.
The "CDRWs" dialog is a description of all buttons and fields of the "CDs" dialog.
There is a list of CDs created and known by KaTeker. The order of the list can be changed by the <Order new first> button or simply clicking into the first column C_xxx to order by the names of the media. Clicking into the third column orders by old or new first. Further clicks toggles old and new order first. The other fields and their behavior is described at the "CDRWs" dialog.
