SYNOPSIS:

CDDA2MP3 [-d [d,d,d|device]] [-i] [-w] [-c|n] [-s n|-e] track_number name { name }






CDDA2MP3 [-h]




DESCRIPTION:








CDDA2MP3 converts the tracks of an audio CD to mpeg3 files. Starting at track_number it creates the files name_n.mp3 where name is the parameter name and n is the track number. If there are more name's the track number is incremented If the name is '-' the track is skipped. A play list loadable by xmms is generated. The device is described at man cdda2wav. All files are created into the current directory.

INSTALLATION:









Unpack CDDA2MP3.tgz
This creates the files CDDA2MP3 and cdda2wav into the actual directory








Move CDDA2MP3 to a directory included in your path i.e. /usr/local/bin








Install the cdda2wav wrapper
